Non vi saranno scienzati in subbuglio
Nè telescopi puntati a spiarla,
E nemmeno il commento degli uccelli,
La loro gioia dopo l'ansia.

Prevederla è impossibile.
Una creatura, sola,
avanzerà sull'orlo della tenebra
E fisserà l'orrore
D'un sole che si spegne.

E su lei sola poi verrà la piena
